Pagan Pride Day Omaha is still looking for vendors, readers, groups and anyone wanting to sell or promote at the PPD on September 21st. Keep in mind that the deadline is August 31st, which is less than a week away! If you are interested send a message or check out our website.
An incredibly important part of Pagan Pride events is giving back to the community as well as building awareness. This has been a much larger challenge than any of us originally anticipated. We have contacted many local charities with the hopes that they would be willing to work with us and accept any donations that we can collect, but have repeatedly been rejected or left ignored. We are still diligently working to locate a local charity, but have so far been unsuccessful. We will not stop trying.
However, we are pleased to announce that during our Pagan Pride Day Omaha event, we will be collecting donations to help benefit the Circle Sanctuary which is a non-profit, international Nature Spirituality resource center dedicated to serving people of Pagan and other Nature-centered spiritual paths by providing education, nature preservation, spiritual resources, ministerial services, and so much more. For more information on Circle Sanctuary, visit our Charities page, or visit their website: https://www.circlesanctuary.org/
We will continue to search for a local non-profit organization in the Omaha metro area that would be interested in working with us and willing to accept donations from our event. Providing assistance and donations to the local community is very important to us, so if you have any information, or know of an organization that would work for us, please Contact Us!
We are looking for people who would be interested in presenting a workshop during our 2013 Pagan Pride Day Omaha event. If you are interested, please fill out the workshop application form which is located here:
Once we have reviewed your application, someone from the PPD committee will be in contact with you as soon as possible to discuss your workshop and preferred times, etc. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We look forward to seeing you all on September 21st!
The vendor application form has been completed and can be found on our vendors page located here:
Once we have reviewed your application, someone from the PPD committee will be in contact with you as soon as possible to discuss payment options and vendor needs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We look forward to seeing you all on September 21st!
